Born from the vibrant world of the legendary Dr Buzzard’s Original Savannah Band, Kid Creole & The Coconuts have been electrifying stages around the world for more than forty years. Created by Bronx-born New York artist August Darnell, whose flamboyant elegance defines “The Kid,” the act embodies a unique blend of groove, humour and tropical sophistication.
Joined by the legendary Coconuts – a glamorous, quirky and irresistible trio – and a ten-piece orchestra, the group delivers a true musical mosaic: pop, funk, calypso, jazz, Latin and reggae. An explosive cocktail that turns every concert into a celebration.
Cult classics such as “Annie I’m Not Your Daddy,” “Stool Pigeon,” “Endicott” and “I’m a Wonderful Thing, Baby” have left their mark on generations and continue to set every stage alight.
But Kid Creole & The Coconuts are not simply looking back. The group continues its creative journey with recent singles including “Dead Man Talking,” “Britannia,” “Monkey,” “Simply Wonderful” and “Make It Work for Martha.”
These songs are proof that their inspiration remains as strong as ever, and their groove every bit as irresistible as it was on day one.
They will be on tour in autumn 2026 and back again in 2027!
