Alex Renko has worked in live music since 2003. An independent entrepreneur, he has spent more than twenty years developing artistic projects, tours and collaborations among artists, managers, venues, festivals and producers.
From 2004, he worked on tours for major international names in jazz, soul and funk, including Jimmy Smith, Roy Hargrove, Isaac Hayes, Gil Scott-Heron, Family Stone, Larry Graham, Kool & The Gang, The Temptations featuring Damon Harris and Percy Sledge.
He also works with Richard Bona and Eliane Elias. His collaboration with Brooklyn Funk Essentials spans twenty years.
His experience has been built over time through hands-on work in negotiation, artist booking, production, touring strategy and professional relationships in France and internationally.
Today, he leads Sunny Side Productions in Paris. His approach is direct: understand the project, identify the right partners and build lasting collaborations.
