Following the success of the “Official Prince Tribute Concert” in Minnesota in 2016, members of the NPG decided to reunite and present “Celebrating Prince,” honouring his musical genius and bringing his music to fans around the world.

The band is now known as “CELEBRATING PRINCE feat. former members of the New Power Generation (NPG).”

The group is led by Morris Hayes, Prince’s keyboardist and musical director, who worked with him for more than 20 years. He is joined by the incredible MC Tony Mosley, the outstanding Sonny Thompson and Mike Scott on bass and guitar, the fabulous MacKenzie on vocals, and the talented Keith Anderson and Brandon Commodore on saxophone and drums.
