Présentation & ActualitésBiography & News

Né en Guadeloupe, installé à Boston après des études au Berklee College of Music où il enseigne actuellement, il est l’une des figures majeures du jazz contemporain.

He has collaborated with Roy Hargrove, D’Angelo, Erykah Badu, Meshell Ndegeocello and Danilo Perez. A pioneer of gwoka jazz and voodoo jazz, his work engages with Afro-Caribbean traditions, spirituality and collective memory.

His latest album, “Resistance,” was born out of a need to respond to the challenges of our time. More than a stylistic exercise, the album is a true musical manifesto. For this project, the saxophonist chose a trio line-up without a harmonic instrument, creating space for radical improvisation.

Join him for the album release on October 15, 16 and 17, followed by a tour in 2027!
