This iconic band was founded in 1964 in Jersey City by the Bell brothers. They began with a jazz repertoire before developing their own distinctive blend of jazz, funk and soul.

Kool & the Gang’s return to the stage with their exciting album People Just Want To Have Fun, released in 2023, demonstrates the ability to bring fresh ideas to their signature sound that has always set them apart. The single “Let’s Party”, featuring Sha Sha Jones, was produced by founding member and drummer George “Funky” Brown, adding another layer of authenticity to their music.
